PINEDALE ROAD FLOODED
IN ASHVILLE ALABAMA

Waterfront Property where once there was none.

Water covers Pinedale Road in Ashville for the 3rd or 4th time this year. On Sunday the water reached the highest level that is has been in many years.

Most of the time when water is over the road, if a person takes their time, they can ease right on through it. Sometimes, like this time, it gets much deeper and farther across. When the water does reach these depths, there are always people that try to drive through it. It is a wonder that no one has been injured or killed.

For those of us that must detour around through Whitney Junction, it is a real inconvenience. From the spot that the picture was taken, it is around 2 miles into downtown Ashville. When the water is over the road it is over 13 miles to town.
